for more on the lance armstrong backlash, click here.sidenote: in the interest of full disclosure, hubby and i are members of the political arm of the lance armstrong foundation, and wholly support his intentions of raising more money for cancer research and supportive programs for patients and caregivers. however, i have to wonder that his incredible story, in conjunction with the survivors showcased on shows like "today" and "oprah," contributes to creating a very rosy-pink concept for the american public about what cancer survivorship is like.
